Mehrsun women’s squash team Mehrsun and sports
Mehrsun Cultural and Artistic Institute, in the direction of cultural and social activities and with the aim of strengthening sports foundations, supported the Republic of Iran Squash Federation and the establishment of the Mehrsun Women’s Squash Team. Squash is a very attractive sport that, despite many enthusiasts, has not been widely introduced.

Mehrsun Institute, in order to strengthen the federation and with the approach of proper introduction of this sport and also paying special attention to women’s sports in the country, in the first step considered supporting the Squash Federation and then encouraged the formation of the Mehrsun Women’s Squash Team.
Hossein Rafiyan was appointed as a member of the board of directors of the squash federation at the suggestion of Massoud Soleimani, the head of the squash federation, and with the approval of the Ministry of Sports.

The formation of the Mehrsan women’s squash team – whose main composition is made up of the national women’s squash players of Iran – was the next step in the advancement of this sport. According to the decision of the CEO of Mehrsan Cultural Institute, Samaneh Hanifi was appointed as the head of the women’s squash team of Mehrsan.

Samaneh Hanifi also appointed Fatehmsadat Heydari as the head coach of the team, Mahsa Rouhi as the team’s bodybuilding coach and Farnoosh Nakowi as her advisor. The first team of Mehrsan was formed with the presence of Sogol Thamodi, Satish Pesheshki, Fereshte Eghtari, Narges Soltani, Aili Neiri and Haniyeh Rafiian, the main players of the women’s squash team in different age groups.

This team participated in the first week of the Iran Women’s Squash Premier League, which was held in the squash courts of sports complex B; With a powerful and remarkable victory, he was able to become the leader of the league and get the title of champion.

Two press meetings were held in the presence of Masoud Soleimani, the head of the squash federation, Hossein Rafiyan, the CEO of the club, Samane Hanifi, head of the Mehrsan women’s squash team, and Fatemehsadat Heydari, the head coach of this team, at the Mehrsan library.

In addition to the Mehrsan women’s team, the Mehrsan youth team was also formed by recruiting new players, and in the course of a decision by the managing director of the group, the responsibility of the head coach of both teams was given to Mrs. Mastane Karampour. Currently, Mehrsan has two youth squash teams of Mehrsan with the presence of Narges Sultani, Satish Pesheshki, Parmin Nekopayian Tek and Hanieh Rafiian, and the women’s squash team of Mehrsan with the presence of Fereshta Eghtari, Aili Neiri, Sogol Thamodi, Hadis Farzad and Nargol Ramzanzadeh.
